What to Expect at FBC

The first thing you will notice about our church is the warmth and friendliness that will engulf you as you walk in the door.  Beyond that, you may want to know some other things about our church before you come:

1.  Dress--Since we are in the presence of the Lord, we do want to present ourselves well at corporate worship services.  At FBC you will mainly find business casual, with a few suits scattered about the room.  To give you an idea, many of the men wear nice blue jeans and a buttoned up shirt.

2.  Worship Style--We consider our worship style blended.  We incorporate hymns, southern gospel, and modern praise songs into our worship experience.  The Lord has provided a brand new multi-media system which we use to project songs and images onto a screen, so you will not have to worry about not knowing the songs.

3.  Preaching Style--You will need your Bible when you come to FBC worship services.  In order for your life to be impacted, you must be exposed to the Word of God.  Bro. James is committed to preaching what the Word of God says.  He wants to teach you the Word, not just about the Word.  He does this mainly by preaching through Biblical books.  This is not the boring word by word study, but it is unit by unit, story by story, through a book.  For some examples of this, visit our Sermons page to listen to Bro. James' latest sermons.

4.  Guest Treatment--Exercise your hand and neck before you come.  You will be welcomed with hand shakes and hugs, by a lot of folks.  We want you to get where God wants you to be, and we feel that for every person who walks through our doors, that means becoming part of our church body.  We want you to feel welcome to worship with us and to serve alongside us as we reach Cache for Christ.
